The secret of Barcelona success.

Barcelona FC suddenly went from the team who went trophy less from the year 2000-2004 to arguably the best team in the world ever. This is what I refer to as a miracle. Did they buy better players? It can’t be, because after their brief success in 2006, they went through another trophy drought from that year until 2008 and frustrated they sold their talisman Ronaldinho and Deco in 2008, two players who were instrumental to their 2006 success. What did Barcelona as a football club then do differently?
I asked myself this question several times and I was not to find the answer until many years after I became a Christian. And this spiritual principle is not a Christian thing, it’s a spiritual principle meaning despite your religion, if you practice it, it will work for you.

Luke 9vs 47: And Jesus, perceiving the thoughts of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,

And this is the beautiful one.

Luke 9vs 48: And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

Now answer this question, is Barcelona great today?

On September 7, 2006, an agreement was signed between Barcelona and UNICEF in which Barcelona would donate the sum of 1.5million euros per year to UNICEF for five  years. Let that sink in to your mind. In this same period, their rival Real Madrid signed a sponsorship deal with bwin that pay upwards of £15 million, or $30 million at the time, annually. Barcelona had forfeited their own personal gains, rather than receive money for sponsorship, they had chosen to pay money to sponsor a righteous course! By this act, they have made the loud cry of children orphaned, sick, homeless, etc to be heard round the whole world. No wonder heaven was moved and trophies that their trophy room could not contain came in. As Barcelona got successful and bigger, more people were drawn to them and the inscription on their shirt was seen by more people round the world.God made them so successful globally so that philanthropists and other kind hearted people could see and be moved to sponsor the righteous course of UNICEF.

Some of you might ask why did they not win after this spiritual act, have you not read the bible where it says “while the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest shall not cease.  And also in Ecclesiastes 11vs 1 “Cast your bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.

The many days for Barcelona came in 2008, they became the principality in the world of soccer, they set the pace in which other teams followed. Their “tiki taka” style became a pain in the ass of their opponents and their trademark style. They are the image of success in soccer world today, the benchmark. This team is not going to stop yet BUT such spiritual act is to be maintained and should continue less the source of the blessings runs dry. In four years, this great team won fourteen trophies. 

This is simply amazing!!

In conclusion, what are you doing to favour God’s righteous course in your personal life? You can’t favour his righteous course if you don’t know him. You can’t know him except through his son and our lord Jesus Christ. Accept him into your life today and believe with all your heart that he died for you. If you want to accept him say this prayer below"Thank you, God, for loving me and sending your Son to die on the cross for my sins. I now choose to make Jesus the Lord of my life. Help me to be the kind of person that You want me to be. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Welcome to God’s family, now you can be successful, gain the whole world, spread your fruits and branches abroad, build your character and not be scared of losing your soul. And never forget that God is not blessing you because of you and your family alone, he is blessing you so that you can be a blessing to the world in general. BE SUCCESSFUL!!
