1ST CORINTHIANS 1:27: “But God hath chosen the
foolish things of the world to confound the wise;”
A young man at the time aged 20 threw away an opportunity to
graduate from one of the best universities in the world to chase his own dream,
a dream that’s changed the world today.
His name is........
His name is........
Mark Zuckerberg. He left
the comfort of Harvard University to pursue a dream and his mission was to “make
the world open.” Today his foolishness of leaving Harvard has made him the pride
of Harvard and the world in general. This foolish act led to the invention of Facebook.
Mark Zuckerberg by this foolish act has changed how we love, live, do business and
socialize forever. If I had been his roommate in Harvard and he had said to me that
he was quitting Harvard to chase what he calls a dream, I would have called him
a fool. But today, he does not need a university degree to be influential and successful;
the gift of God from birth has separated him from the rest of his peers.
Every year thousands apply to get into Harvard, and when
they finally do get in, what most come out with is a degree and some additional mustache to show they are no longer teenagers, there is a saying “Many are
called, but few are chosen.” When one of the called chooses to leave the race
he automatically becomes a loser, but today if the chosen ones of Harvard are being
celebrated, Mark Zuckerberg will stand proudly with them.
In conclusion, God truly uses the foolish things of this
world to confound the wise.
